Club (In Depth)

We pride ourselves on building quality relationships that inspire positive change. Along with structured programs, here are methods that we use to develop relationships with our youth, their families and the communities they we serve in.

One-on-One-Quality time spent between staff/volunteers with individual youth. This time is a demonstration to the youth that they are important as individuals and that they are loved and accepted unconditionally. We do our best to assist youth in crisis by listening and identifying crisis situation, whether it’s peer group pressure or difficult family situations. Staff and volunteers are available as sounding boards and sources of positive ideas and encouragement. We also provide additional assistance through outside resources we feel will help.

Value System Building- We provide community service projects that get the youth involved in working together to help others through a variety of charitable activities, such as food distribution initiatives, yard cleaning, house painting and community cleanups.

Mentoring- Helping to establish and create positive future goals by interaction with stable role models in careers related to the youths personal goals. We do activities such as job shadowing and corporate visits.

In School Visits- Promotes acceptance of Every Kid as a positive influence and model of maintaining a casual, friendly presence in youth-filled environments without planned activities on an agenda. We make weekly lunch visits to local middle and high schools for positive interaction with school staff.  On some occasions we also present seminars of interest to staff when appropriate for youth development.
